Routine Maintenance & Repairs
Your aerated wastewater treatment system is required to be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer instructions and is enforced via the local government. Most systems are required to be serviced quarterly or every Thirteen weeks. A routine service normally lasts approximately 30 minutes and in that time our service technicians shall evaluate, test and maintain the different components of your wastewater system.
The Following components shall be evaluated and maintained during a service:
Electrical Components
The systems Air Blower
Air and Sludge Return Systems
Septic Chamber
Irrigation Chamber
Irrigation Area
Once the service has been completed, you will receive a quarterly maintenance report detailing the service completed. A copy of the maintenance report shall be forwarded by All About Wastewater to the local council and one copy shall be held by ourselves for future reference.
Quarterly Service Fee - $75.00
Breakdown / Emergency
All About Wastewater offers breakdown assistance and normally will be onsite to rectify the problem the very next working day. After hours assistance is available for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. We carry most items and spares on board our service vehicles so we can quickly and promptly repair the majority of issues.
Your wastewater system will go into alarm mode for one of two main reasons:
1) Air Pump Failure
2) Irrigation Pump Failure
As per Australian standards, your wastewater system has been designed with some hydraulic capacity or "liquid storage space" for incidents such as this, however it is always advisable to contact us as soon as possible to avoid further damage to your system and potential extra expense you.
Breakdown Call Out Fee: $100 which includes the first 30 minutes of labour.
